This was predicted 1984
In 1984 an American-Serbian artists, Rudy D. Franklin (a.k.a. Mile Šeća) started creation of "Dark Road From Africa To White House" as a set of 12 pictures symbolizing twelve hours... as a time in humans history...Finally in March of 2007, Mile Šeća finished this series and had two exhibitions in China. First one on June 20 - July 03 in Dong Shan City or "Chinese Hawaii" and second one from November 07 to November 14 at Xiapou-Beijing November Art Festival. Media: VENEER. Veneer are tin sheets shredded from different trees and then cured or dried. Artist has to cut veneer into smaller pieces with unique shapes choosing grains and natural wood colors to installed together into a PICTURE. Very tedious and time consuming... All 12 picture are on permanent exhibition on First Floor at "Our Children Foundation" in Manhattan (New York City) where artist and his wife, artist too, have atelier sponsored by FOUNDATION. |

They understood that black as a salves will sabotage machines and stop production. That was one of reason to make black slave free... Agricultural Southern State, where slave done all farming manual, was against giving any freedom to theirs black slaves... and disagreement escalated in Civil War, where blacks could not serve as soldier but State of Massachusetts had organized black slave in FIRST voluntary "The Massachusetts 54th Black Regiment" which was leaded by white officers, only. They had no voting rights, they could not eat in "only for white" restaurant, sleep in hotels for white Americans, they has to sit back in the bus, they could not go in same schools and collages with whites... and only hired for manual labor or worst job and was lest paid for up for 10 times then whites... In 1984, when I started first picture of "Dark Road From Africa To White House", yes back then, somehow I felt, that both my consciousness and subconsciousness mind sent me signals: "... and when 12 picture is completed USA will have president of African decent..." These picture was finished in the end of March 2007 in Xiamen. Complete series "Dark Road From Africa To White House" was exhibited in Dong Shan or Chinese Hawaii (South China) same year in June .
