Chairman Deng Xiaoping and Margaret Thatcher "DECISIVE MEETING" inspire me to start painting the theme: "Celebration of Hong Kong's Return to the Motherland" which was on exhibition in China National Arts Museum, April 1997 just a little more than 2.5 months before it officially return. Unfortunately, Chairman Deng passed away few months before exhibition and it was biggest solo show that was reported for months and months by all national news papers, radio, TV and by International News Agency - REUTERS... Weekly Illustrated Magazine "MING" from Hong Kong, invited me and 9 others Chinese artists as a The 10 BEST of NATIONAL ART TREASURE, to stay one week in Hong Kong for really celebration. These other Chinese artists was: Wu Qingxia, Cheng Shifa, Song Wenzhi, Qian Juntao, Shao Luoyang, Wang Mingming, Cheng Duoduo, Guo Yizong, and Han Tianheng. For paintings "Deceive Meeting" an Irish art dealer offered me substantial amount of money, which was reported in many Chinese and Chinese English news paper, but at that time I declined. This painting is not only valuable of it's artistic' powerful and high value, but of historically, too.
